Android Software Engineer

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As an Android Engineer working with us you will be part of cross-functional teams that will define, design, build and ship new features within our applications for the Android platforms (Mobile/Set Top Box).

The right person will have good knowledge about Android basic components and experience in Android application development, experience with Android Studio+ Gradle is a plus.

Being an organization with multiple offices in different countries fluency in English, both spoken and written, is a must. Positive attitude combined with great team work abilities were proven to help.

To perform the tasks you will need and will constitute an advantage:

• Knowledge in UI/UX and working with designers
• Experience in working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Experience with Android Set Top Box development
• Working experience with third party libraries like: Butterknife, Retrofit, Dagger 2, Picasso, Volley
• Working experience with data persistence
• Experience with Content Provider implementation
• Working experience with the different types of Android Services
